Did it and used the software installer. However nothing new shows in /etc/yum.repos.d
Looking at it, the downloaded file, I notice a catalogue-file string of /./etc/yum.repos.d/
Where has the file gone ?
In /root/.xsession-errors I noticed this (no date or time in the file):

Saved the downloaded file, carefully unwrapped it and moved the file CentOS-CR.repo to /etc/yum.repos.d
'yum update' produced 78 packages @ 117 M.

The rpm package looks and installs fine, not sure what happened there.
