Need the centosplus repository enabled first, though, don't you?
Which is just a matter of uncommenting it in /etc/yum.conf on centos3. What are the right instructions for centos4?

For CentOS-3 .. enable the centosplus repo in /etc/yum.conf ... then:
yum install firefox ------------------------------------- For CentOS-4, firefox is in the base... so:
yum update firefox ---------------------------------------- You can also download directly from here for centos-3:
i386: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/3/centosplus/i386/RPMS/
substitute x86_64 or ia64 for i386 in the above link for those arches.
