Can anyone tell me if the current libtiff-3.9.4-9.el6_3.x86_64 RPM has bigtiff support built into it? I need this for tiling rather large images for the Virtual Microscope project I am working on, and I am having issues building the 4x versions that only seem to be available for F18.
Thank you for any information you can provide

Can you open tiff files larger than 4GB? If not, then you have your answer.
Looking at the changelog of the current libtiff I don't see any mention of bigtiff so I would assume it has not been backported. I only see mention of security/bug fixes.
