I only got a Voodoo Banshee because one was up for auction locally, and I could get it cheap. I also had good results with a cheapie S3 card.

I suspect that most any other card might work better than nVIDIA.

So if you want to "cut the Gordian knot" and solve the problems fast, F**K nVIDIA, and try any other display card.
