I've tried unsuccesfully (following dag's Faq for rebuilding against the current kernel):

# rpmbuild --rebuild --define 'kernel $(uname -r)' --target $(uname -m)\ kernel-module-qc-usb-0.6.3-0.iva.1.src.rpm

1. My standards and Dag's standards are different. See the beginning of

the spec file for details. Quick summary: If you're building for the running kernel then you don't need to provide any defines, just a target.

2. You might want to try the SRPM I've built for CentOS instead.
