Hello: All day Sunday the 21st, I want to listen to WPRM-FM in San Juan, P.R. When I go to this URL, http://www.salsoul.com/ near the center and top of their web page, I click on "Escuchamos en vivo!" to hear their live audio and I get a pop up that says "opening WPRM_FM.asx which is ASF video from www.streamaudio.com"
Then, Firefox wants to open with Movie Player and I get an Error message: "Totem could not play no URI handler implemented for "mms"
Question: What package or plug in do I need, so I can listen to this? I believe the file format is for M$. I'm Using CentOS 5.0.

Frank: I added the RPM Forge Respository and got MPlayer and 19 dependencies. I think what I now have is a configuration problem. If you have MPlayer working, which Audio Driver do you have selected and which Audio Codec family is selected? When I click on the URL of the radio station, Totem still pops up, and I download a tiny .asx file, which I believe is a Playlist. The file itself is .asf I believe. Hoping I can get MPlayer configured properly before Sunday morning. If I right click on the .asx file, MPlayer is now a choice, along with Totem. Thanks again, for your time and help, which are much appreciated! Lanny in Colombia

yum remove totem yum install mplayerplug-in
Download this: ftp://ftp4.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/essential-20071007.tar.bz2
Put the contents into /usr/local/lib/win32
Restart firefox

That removed Rhythmbox too, as a dependency.

Frank: SOLVED! God bless you! I'm listening to 98.5 in San Juan, Puerto Rico! :-) They will begin at 7 A.M. our time tomorrow. Thanks a million for your time and help! Lanny
