Hi List,
I see that java-1.8 from Oracle is in RedHat but I don't find it in CentOS repos.
"This update adds the java-1.8.0-oracle and related packages to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. (BZ#1138845)"
Am I missing something?
Thanks, Steve

The Oracle Java channels (rhel-x86_64-server-6-thirdparty-oracle-java for example) in RHEL aren't free to redistribute, I believe. Oracle provides them for Red Hat, and Red Hat distributes them as a convenience, but doesn't alter them in any way.

Those are in a paid channel and are not licensed for redistribution.
