Is Red Hat Developer Studio (RHDS 2.1) available for CentOS 4.2? If yes, where may I download it?
Thank you in advance.

Anyone know if this works with Sun's JDK? Myself am using another Red Hat EL 4.2 derivative, Scientific Linux 4.2 (http://www.scientificlinux.org/), and I am getting the exact types of failures. I have tried with distribution's Java 1.4.2_10 and IBM's Java 1.4.2_10 (since it is mentioned in the readme).
In addition, I have installed it from RHAPS and still was not able to have it ran. That's why I decided to check CentOS mailing list, just in case it is able to run under CentOS (but as I can see, it can't).
Isn't anyone developing CentOS applications? This is supposed to be Red Hat EL main development tool!

this is an old error with the libswt3-gtk2 package when this is run with other JDK instead of IBM JDK. no response until now. i rebuild eclipse from srpm with sun java, and the error remains. i only find a similar error that was produced in a eclipse version from fedora core 4 previews (rawhide) builded for gcj4, the same case, when try to run with sun java. curiously the eclipse verson from fedora core 4 run without problems with sun java.
i run eclipse from RHAPS in centos with the latest ibm jdk builded from jpackage. u need to register in the ibm site to download ibm jdk.
curiously, i can run eclipse from RHAPS2 with gcj4 that come in the latest centos4/upstream vendor update. i see that gcc4-preview is the same version that the latest fedora core4 gcc version too.

Currently I am using another Red Hat EL 4.2 derivative, Scientific Linux 4.2 (http://www.scientificlinux.org/), and RHDS 2.1 is failing to run after installation there.
Has anyone from CentOS community installed and ran RHDS 2.1 on CentOS 4.2 successfully?
