I'm presuming you are asking about the software raid offered via.
I've been using it for years with NO problems. Raid 1 and Raid 5.
I've also used it with LVM on top of raid 1 and raid 5. Again, no problems except my stupidity.

how do you setup a bootable raid 1 array? Can it be software or does it have to be hardware?
