Just a suggestion:

Have you tried Gnucash? It is in the EPEL repository, works fine in Centos 7, and is really well done.

P.S. - I can not comment on HomeBank, as I haven't used it.

I have managed to successfully install all the apps that i was using in ubuntu in CentOS 7.1 except for the app named as: HomeBank
