Hey folks,
I'm running CentOS4 (excellent work btw :-) here, and have apt installed and configured to pull from http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/
It's all working swimmingly, other than when I try to install nagios-plugins, whereupon it bails out looking for perl(Net::SNMP)
Am I missing a repository here, or has something gone amiss with dependancies?
Regards
Kyle

Hi
I used Dag's repository to install nagios-plugins , it worked very well. Check it out, http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/

I thought I was using Dags repository, as I have the following line in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/dag.list -
rpm http://apt.sw.be redhat/el4/en/i386 dag
I'll give the other one a shot though...

Well, it all works nicely. Thanks for the hint :-)
Had to use yum instead of aapt in the end, but no big deal.
Cheers,
Kyle

Strange, I am very interested to look at the output Apt gave you. The package properly provides perl(Net::SNMP). Maybe there was a temporary failure downloading ?
If you could rerun it to see if it happens again I'd be very grateful.
Kind regards, -- dag wieers, dag@wieers.com, http://dag.wieers.com/ -- [all I want is a warm bed and a kind word and unlimited power]
