I get this error when running yum list updates

Do you have the mirrors enabled and the plugins for "closest mirror"? I've been regulary checking for updates and when I get various occasional failures, it just rolls to the next mirror and all works OK.

This is CentOS-3 .. those don't exist yet :)
However, we are currently updating mirrors with updates, so I would suggest that you try again in an hour or so.
