Try to set your SATA devices to AHCI in Bios. After that try the following:
linux all-generic-ide pci=nommconf

Well, this is the hint I have sent a few months ago to list. :o) I doesn't help for C5. I see no sata devices in Anaconda, only one device mapper. David
Helo, I have similar problem on DG965SS. This board have 4 port for SATA devices. I see disks only on first two ports (SATA0, SATA1). I test FedoraCore on the same PC system a it see disks on all four SATA port.

Well, I've flashed the latest BIOS yesterday. I must now use IDE mode not AHCI to see SATA as hdx. It's totally unusable motherboard under CentOS. I've set SW raid yesterday and it's still synchronizing now having terrible slow response on console. David
