Okay, since you don't seem to want to tell us, I'll ask the obvious question.... what driver is it loading? Or failing that, what hardware are you using (motherboard, scsi controller)?

It hangs on the part where its installing the scsi driver. Its an Intel Motherboard, i tried installing FC5 and it works. But with Centos4.3, somehow its taking so much time on the part where its installing the scsi driver.
Loading scsi driver ... aicXXX.. Disabling IRQ11

That isn't terribly helpful. Exactly what motherboard. Exactly what SCSI controller? Exactly what SCSI drives? How are the drives connected and terminated? Etc...
If you want help, you've got to supply enough relevant information so that people can try to assist you. Your initial note was akin to "Uh, my head hurts. Why?"
Cheers,

Have a look at the thread at:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/redhat-install-list/2005-November/msg00036.h...
which points to the bug report at:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=150548
which suggests using the installer boot command line option:
'acpi=off'
I haven't seen this problem myself.
