You need to be more specific, what kind of session are you wanting to record and what do you want recorded about that session. Sudo logging has the ability to record everything (including timing) about a sudo session. The script utility can record all or a part of a terminal session. Be aware that escape sequences are recorded as well making re-use (particularly with script) challenging. If you need something different then reply defining that need much more specifically, do you need just session start and end times, keystroke logging, what?
