MATLAB for Linux? http://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab/requirements.html and http://www.mathworks.com/support/sysreq/current_release/linux.html
For alternatives, http://www.google.co.uk/m/search?q=linux+matlab+alternative and http://www.google.co.uk/m/search?q=centos+matlab+alternative
Try Google before posting to the list.

Try OCTAVE: http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/
I'm not sure it is the same thing, but maybe also works for you.
Julio.

There is a Linux/UNIX version of MATLAB itself. Costs though. I am not sure if octave is the same thing or not.
Thank you

I used Scilab when I was a student, which is compatible with matlab: http://www.scilab.org/
I have never tested it on CentOS (there seem to be a very old version in the RPMForge repo).
Greetings,

Ocatave is a free matlab-like tool available from EPEL in packages suitable for CentOS.
MATLAB runs on CentOS. Lessee, I log onto one box I know they're using it on, and it says /usr/local/opt/matlab-2008b.
