Hello,
We're getting around to upgrading our mail server and here are the quick specs:
MegaRAID SCSI 320-2X http://www.lsilogic.com/products/megaraid/scsi_320_2x.html
TYAN Transport TA26 B2882T26U8H 2U Barebone Server-Rackmount - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16856152007
plus RAM, CPU and 4 SCSI drives setup in a RAID-5
Is that MegaRAID controller supported in CentOS4.3 out of the box? I really don't want to muck around with driver disks and the like. Anyone else have suggestions?
Thanks, Ajay

I'm buying the new hardware in order to run CentOS 4.3. Before I put in the order I'd like to make sure that it's supported by CentOS 4.3 out of the box. If worst came to worse, I'm sure I'd get it working with a driver disk...

whoops, my bad... i read the 'upgrade' word and reacted from there.
That card _should_ work fine with the 4.3 kernels.
I believe the same controller is used on some Fujitsu RX300 servers, and I've just installed 14 of them...without a problem...
I am fairly sure its the same mega raid controller model number you are using....
