Just don't get a Belkin KVM. :)
I have a Belkin 4 port KVM that works flawlessly.
Your lucky then. In the past there has been many posts where people with Belkin KVMs have had to apply various workarounds to get the mouse to behave. Some with success others without.
These ones are absolutely great and look at the price!! (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X 292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=46611) - I have some 2 and 4-way ones.
These ones don't work the mouse properly under Linux but are OK under W*nd*ws (I was sent some by mistake by a supplier): http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=11290503508&action... vd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=79994
