Bryan... NOBODY CARES how many times Chris is wrong. NOBODY CARES what you prove on this point. Whether Chris is right, wrong or stoopid is NOT proper fodder for this (CENTOS) list.
Chris being wrong is *strictly* a "Bryan Fixation".
Part of YOU growing up is YOU realizing that whether Chris is or is not wrong is UNIMPORTANT to ANYTHING that you or anybody important to you think is important.
Challenge: don't respond, unless it's about CentOS or related stuff (like the Meridian War... neat info I hadn't seen before!)

I want to prove Chris wrong yet again.
Can we close this one now....while we are all still talking,
Otherwise take it out on line on one of my Centos based UT2004 servers, you can then go deathmatch and "virtually" blast the crap out of each other....
Its a good to talk, but sometimes only a rocket propelled grenade can truly make your point understood.....
:-)

Does UT run on CentOS? If so, put me in coach! 8-) I haven't been keeping up with the gaming thing on Linux except for Tux Racer for my children.
If being quiet proves me wrong, I will glady remain wrong in perpetuity. 8-)
Back to lurking...about to lose my airport hot spot.
Cheers,
UT 2004 does run on Linux......
Client and dedicated servers.... http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/wfsection/article.php?articleid=40
So does Quake 4 (released 2 weeks ago) http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/linux/quake4/

Cool! I'll have to buy a copy. It's been years since I was into FPS games, but I used to be pretty good at Ghost Recon.
Now...how to sneak a gaming rig into the next quarterly budget.... 8-)

Just don't Play Onslaught or Assault on a large server unless you have a hefty system. UT2K7 is pretty CPU bound ... my 2.4 P4 groans every time I play.
Are we really off topic now??
