hi, there are meny centos rpm where the vendor field in not filled. it'd be nice to correct. rpm -qp --queryformat "%{VENDOR} %{NAME}-%{VERSION}\n" *.rpm|egrep -v "CentOS"

For CentOS-4 ... this will be sorted out with the next release ... the official build machines have:
%distribution CentOS-4 %rpmdbname CentOS %vendor CentOS
in the .rpmmacros

Whats the status using CentOS/RHEL with laptops using 852 chipsets? Supported or don't try this at home loads of troubles?
