My company uses Dynect as primary and seconary though they can do secondary as well
We also use their DNS based global load balancing as well.
So far 100% uptime(about 7-8 months of usage). Thousands of queries per second.

Why not just rent a VPS and install CentOS and use it as your secondary. You would have total control then and it would be cheap and reliable.
Well, my work still costs a lot of money. Adding more servers for maintenance is not wise and not even cost effective.
Cheap dns hosting providers are available and they take care of security issues also.
