Is there a new kernel available for the X64 platform? Can you see this in the repo? It might explain why it hasn't upgraded. The i386 may have been the only updated kernel...

Hmmm...I would expect that it would not ATTEMPT to install the X64 kernel version as it is running the x86 version currently.
So I am not sure what I am runnng into here.
