-------- Original Message ------- Hello,
I would like to try CentOS on a PPC machine (a Pegasos http://www.pegasosppc.com ). http://www.centos.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=65 says, that a boot iso file can be downloaded, but I get a 404 error for http://beta.centos.org/centos/4.0beta/isos/ppc/ Could you please point me to the right URL? Thanks, bye, Peter

You might want to keep in mind that 4.2/ppc has not been released as yet, and pegasos has some odd boot issues. But do test and let us know how you get along.

My test: a recent pegasos boot.iso autobooted fine on my ppc32. Had no boot issues whatsoever.

Hi Patrick,
my guess is that boot.iso you used, was not a 2.6.9-x-EL kernel :) but having said that, there is no reason why the mac-boot.iso should not boot.
