Hi
We setup a server the other day for a client, and it has a 35gig jazz drive in it.
Centos 4.2 recognizes it as a cd disk. How would I go abouts getting it to read and write to it?
When I click on the cd-rom disc icon it loads up cd/dvd creator. Shouldn't it just recognize it as an external drive?
Thanks

Last time I used a Jazz drive a long time ago (oh, 8 years ago or so), it was detected as a scsi hd.

When you mount the drive try the -w option for the command mount.
