I've tried to install Oracle Database 10g on CentOS but installation doesnt start saying op. system should be RHEL 3, SUSE 9.0... (or upper) etc. does anyone knows how to install Oracle Database 10g on CentOS. Should I modify runinstall script?

Right ... you need to change (or add this) to the /etc/redhat-release to do the install:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon)
BTW ... that is the official Oracle way to get the install done too.
