Is anyone here doing real use of SAMBA as an NT domain controller?
I have been attempting to follow:

Which is set up to work with Fedora core 4 (how is this equiv to centos 4?)
It looks like I am rather far along. Hit my first obvious problem with the IMC populate script.
It would be nice to have a centos version of all this....

I dont know d:(... i use Samba-3. Realy if Fedora 4 use the Samba-3 then is equiv.
Well i setting Samba whit the use on the system (real unix user). Teh configuration is very easy. Some problem, add machine on the domain (windows xp and 2000 or high), but this problem is not a real problem, because you create the user name_machine$ and leater create the samba user name_machine whit the option -a -m, and this create the confidence account. Then i can to join the machine on domain. Maby is so easy whit the others options, how the samba+ldap or samba+mysql, but my Samba work as the domain NT cotroller.

I meant what is Centos equiv to in terms of Fedora. As the scripts I am using are set up for core 4.

Are you using LDAP? It does not sound so from that last point.
And do you have a BDC? (you really want LDAP for that for replication).
I am setting up with LDAP and trying to use the IMC tools.
