I use CentOS on desktop. I want to have a new versions of these programs: OpenOffice, Emacs and K3B.
Question is: What repository can be used How to set „priority plugin“
At the moment I have set tehese repo:
centOS-base.repo priority=1 adobe-linux-i386.repo mplayer-codecs-extra-20061022-1.i386.rpm mplayer-codecs-20061022-1.i386.rpm rpmforge.repo priority=30

For OpenOffice you can download rpm of latest release at openoffice.org and install them (via script, not yum). I used OOo 3.2.0 for some CentOS desktop here without any problem.
