Hi,
I am running a CentOS 5 file server in our Windows network and I wanted to add a anti virus scanner. I got a clamav package from atrmps.net, but the samba module samba-vscan is missing. So I am not able to integrate clamav as an on-demand scanner. Does anyone know, where I can get the samba-vscan module?
Thanks knilch

After about 5 seconds I had about 35500 occurrences of "samba-vscan" on Google...
Nevertheless, here you go: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/samba/3.0/10.2/i386/

Thank you, but do you think it is safe to just install binaries from Suse on CentOS? Most important is that the fileserver stays stable.

Yes. Installing Suse packages on CentOS probably will work. Exchanging the complete samba to get samba-vscan also isn't a good idea.

That sounds like a better idea.

Well, I have been using samba-vscan on CentOS4 and 5, and I always build from source, just in case.
Been working ok here.
