Good morning,
I've looked around a bit for a yum repository for Mplayer with all of the codecs. Does anyone know of a repository? (I admit I'm being a little lazy this morning :) ).
Thanks!

I compiled Mplayer from an SRPM. Which I obtained from a link on MplayerHQ. The codecs are not in RPM format, but are available to download in a bzip2 tar archive. You can just put those in /usr/lib/win32 (which the rpm install of Mplayer does neatly create for you in advance. ^_^
At least it should.

I'm using DAG apt reprositories [ http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/ ] it has mplayer in packages list [ http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/packages.php ].
However you'll need to install the binary codecs yourself. Just extract the DLLs in /usr/lib/win32 and they should work fine.

I forgot to mention that DAG repositories also work with YUM.

the rpms from dag yum repository work great with CentOS4.
Yes, they do, but you still need to download the codecs and store in the appropriate libaries. I'm happy to find that mplayer works fine on CentOS, unlike certain others (Ubuntu for example, where I was never able to get a usable mplayer).
