I am using CENTOS 5 and I am stuck where I have to repair my boot loader and all of the files are read only so I cannot fix them.
How do I get around this?
Thanks
Chuck

mount -o remount,rw /
Do this for all your mount points, then run fsck etc...

?? IIRC, fsck will not repair a writable fs? Remount to ro, fsck, remount to rw is what ISTR doing when I've had situations like this.
