After I updated today (~189 updates) I have lost the ability to print:
[dick@c-24-63-101-211 ~]$ ls |lpr lpr: error - stdin is empty, so no job has been sent.
Anyone having the same problem? Any clues to a cure?
Thanks, Dick

We had the same problem on one server, not on three others. All are using CUPS. Our solution was to re-define the printers.

Thanks for the advice, David. Unfortunately, no joy. I looked at top to see if any orphaned processes were adding to cpu load and found that ghostscript was pulling about 60%. I'll go through my logs to see if anything stands out.
Again, thanks for the assistance.
