As long as a player supports mass storage mode (which the Fuze claims to), then it'll work rather easily in any vaguely modern Linux.

I'm looking for a player that plays vorbis and isn't a M$/DRM/Apple slave and this one looks like a good one to buy.

If you want to watch video as well, the Cowon S9 is a great choice -- the AMOLED screen is utterly gorgeous.
