I am planning to update KVM packages kvm and kvm-qemu-img on a system. Do I need to shutdown running VMs before updating these packages? Does it require any services restart after the update? Any idea?
thanks jM

Hi Johan, I'm updating my KVM-Server today to 6.0cr. Thus that all of my VMs (4) and the server are the same Centos version, there is no need to shutdown a VM. After all updates i will do a reboot with all VMs and the server, but I think there is no needfulness.
