Have a look at http://zimbra.com. It has an open-source version with unlimited users. I've tried both it and scalix and much prefer zimbra.
Cheers.

Scalix has announced starting with Version 11.3, to be released mid December 2007, the number of premium users available in the Community Edition will be reduced from 25 to 10. The number of standard users will remain unlimited for now. There is new commercial licenses available starting at 20 users to fill in the gap. You can continue to use Ver. 11.2 which will remain at 25 premium users forever, but there are several serious issues in this version which will not be addressed except by updating to 11.3.
In our experience the most current version of the Community Edition tends to be beta test software - YMMV. Using any version of the Community Edition in a commercial or educational environment would not be a good idea without a paid for support contract from Scalix.
-----------------------------Hi Fred and others,
Thanks for enlightening me. I will check zimbra or kolab as other also had suggested. If there are others still who will may share ideas, please do so.
Thanks,

Why don't you try Open-xchange, I put together a CD based on CentOS that includes Open-xchange and much more. It's easy to install. You find more information at http://www.nnortux.no under the english section

Would you mind adding some English screenshots? I mentioned this on another list the last time you posted a link but don't think anyone got past the Norwegian.

The screenshots is norwegian but the screenshots shows a out dated version of Open-Xchange, with the latestest release you could only choose between english and german text. The installer may include some norwegian words but not too much. All products in NTX is english

And all speak different languages :-).

Your close what? Ohhhh. You must have meant "you're close".
Which brings up the argument of mono-articulateness vs multi-stupidity.

monolingual or unilingual
Does anyone have any stats on the relative performance of Scalix / Zimbra / OpenXchange?
I switched to Scalix from cyrus a while back to get the extra functionality but it seems to cause our server to run very slow at times and hogs RAM like it's going out of fashion. It's not a small box either, 8GB RAM, terrabyte HD, two quad core processors and I've only got 10 mail users on it.
