Hi all, It's possible to create an alias of a device? Something like a device loN that all it's traffic is send to ethN, so ethN and loN are equivalent.
It's for a bridged setup, i'm not trying to setup another IP on a device.
Thanks! Jordi

Some wireless module create multiple "name" for the same device, like wifi0, wlan0 and eth0. Then technically this must be possible. But I don't know any user space tool to do that.
Maybe you are wrong thinking, having multiple "name" for the same device will help you! What is you main problem ?
Thanks! Jordi
