Is it possible to create CentOS 5.9 LiveCD on CentOS 6.4 system?
I am trying but getting following errors (rpmdb related):

how about you chroot the build so you dont need to work through / with the bdb issues

I managed to delete /etc/ folder from machine I was compiling on, and it was a tough several days, so I forgot to respond.
I will try disabling --nochroot option and see how it goes.
