I hadn't visited the centos forum for a long time and spotted http://www.centos.org/modules/smartfaq/category.php?categoryid=7 Whilst it may not compare in content to the faq's of fedora/ubuntu at http://easylinux.info/wiki/Fedora it is a step in the right direction.
The right additions to the FAQ may see a reduction of the frequently asked questions on the centos list.
