I have installed the minimum and used yum and groupinstall to install
"System Tools" "Web Server"
yet the GUI Server Settings does not contain the Web server or Samba (Samba was installed with "yum install samba"); it just contains Services.
Have I missed something here?

Thank you! It was listed as installed, but was not. Did I miss something like "yum clear"? Is there some reason it was listed as installed when it ws not?

My one guess would be some subset of it was installed which made it appear "installed". However, you would probably get a more authoritative answer from the folks on the yum list.
