Dear All Please be informed that I needed to mount my cdrom on my CentOS 5.2 client , but unsuccessful . I tried as the followings : #mount -t vfat /dev/cdrom-hdc /mnt/cdrom Add the following line to /etc/fstab : /dev/cdrom-hdc /mnt/cdrom vfat noauto,users,noexec,rw,uid=1000,gid=1000 0 0 #mount /mnt/cdrom But I cannot see the CD content . Can you please do me favor and correct me ? Thank you in advance

you asked pretty much the same question a couple of weeks ago and were told that cdroms don't use vfat...
