Hi,
I have a Packard Bell notebook with CentOS 3.6 installed. When I want to turn off the computer everything goes OK until the power should be switched off ... but the display remains turned on with the last "power down" message on it .. until I press the button.
Is there a fix for this? The kernel is 2.4.21-37.EL . Thanks, Adrian
which model notebook? It maybe that the notebook does not support acpi which would cause this issue.
