The "nv" module isn't used, so that's not the problem...
I've seen limited references to this problem, although some hint that it may be a memory failure on the machine. Has anyone else worked this problem and can confirm or deny that?
Has happened now on kernels kernel-smp-2.4.21-37.0.1.EL and kernel-smp-2.4.21-40.EL.
Thanks in advance for any opinions. -Alan

The "nv" module isn't used, so that's not the problem...
This seems to be referencing the binary nvidia drivers from nvidia, which would be the 'nvidia' module, not 'nv'... not sure if that makes a difference for your diagnosis/troubleshooting.
