Hi all,
I've been seeing this message fill my logs;
pbond0: received packet with own address as source address
I've tried;
ip set link pbond0 down ip set link pbond0 arp off ip set link pbond0 up
in /etc/systcl net.ipv4.conf.bond0.arp_ignore = 8 net.ipv4.conf.bond0.arp_announce = 2
I've 2 physycal nics bonded in mode0 called bond0.
Are these messages benign and to be ignored?

Didn't we just hash this out yesterday?
Not really.
Yesterday I asked about behavior specific to modes, today I have a specific error.
I also saw a few other bond posts but non of which matched mine.
Any ideas?
Thanks for pinging back.
It was having reliability issues and so I switched to 802.3ad.
Now all is well.
Would have liked round robin.

I do believe it's merely cosmetic and rather unavoidable in some bond schemes such as 0. _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@centos.org http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
