I may be a little confused but why is there a spamassassin package and a spamassassin perl module? Which is better? It looks like the perl module version has more plugins. What if I have both installed?

what spamassassin perl module are you talking about? I only see a spamassassin package for Centos 4.3.

what spamassassin perl module are you talking about? I only see a spamassassin package for Centos 4.3.
spamassassin IS perl.
Sorry, the perl module is at CPAN. I stumbled across it trying to install a spamassassin plugin.

Sorry, the perl module is at CPAN. I stumbled across it trying to install a spamassassin plugin.
You are probably getting confused with the rpm of SpamAssassin that you get installed with CentOS, and the newer version that you can get from source. They are the same thing.
