Mirror not showing up in mirror-status.centos.org

Hi, I run the mirrors.combinetworks.com mirror, and just noticed when going to http://mirror-status.centos.org that my mirror is not in the list. I had noticed that the mirror server had not been getting very much traffic. Could that be the cause? Are peoples yum instances etc. possibly not using my mirror because of that? Either way if you could add me into the mirror status list that would be great. Cheers, Phil Evans.

Hi List, Any idea how long it takes to get in the list of the public mirrors ? http://centos.weepee.org and ready to rumble .... (http access only) We would also like to mirror the DVD images ... but i digged the list and it seems we need special access for such ... adding us to that list would be most appriciated, regards,

Another Australian mirror?

Hi All, We've been running a CentOS mirror for a number of years now to cover our internal requirements. Given that most of our business has been built on CentOS, we would like to open this mirror up to the world to give something back. We are carrying all architectures of versions 3 4 5 and currently have the DVDs as well. The mirror is available over both IPv4 and IPv6. Hi, I created a new centos mirror at mirror.netcologne.de which is synced 4 times a day and is connected with 2*1Gbit it is located in Cologne, Germany. The mirror is sponsored by netcologne (a german isp: http://netcologne.de) and is maintained by me. Hundreds of requests for CentOS 2 isos from Chinese IP addresses

Recently I've been seeing hundreds of requests over a short space of time for the CentOS 2 isos, always from a single IP address, always Chinese IP addresses. Anybody else seeing these, or know what they are trying to do? It almost looks like some sort of DoS attack. Thanks, Mike

Average Bandwidth Requirements

G'Day List, Currently operating a CentOS mirror for our customer base, and for various reasons we would like to open this up further to the public. Just wondering the approximate bandwidth we could expect on average. I understand with the fastestmirror plugin, this can vary per location, however, just rough guesstimates is all that is required before we commit. Thanks
