rsync error with 5.4(sohu.china)

Hi: Something with our rsyncing . The following are the error messages: 5.4/centosplus/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.18-128.1.6.el5.centos.plus.src.rpm 5.4/centosplus/SRPMS/kernel-2.6.18-128.2.1.el5.centos.plus.src.rpm rsync: read error: Connection reset by peer (104) rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(614) [receiver=2.6.8] rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (2196687 bytes received so far) [generator] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(463) [generator=2.6.8] the attachments are the related rsync configs and the crontab is as follow: 00 */8 * * * (/bin/sh/ /opt/centos.sh) alaleiwang

Mirror issue?

I may be crazy, But using the 5.4 i386 netinstall pointing at the /centos/5.4/os/i386 I get a error about the directory tree not maching boot media same with /centos/5/os/i386 Does this with my up to date mirror, my upstream (linux.mirrors.es.net) and mirrors.kernel.org

Hi: You mentioned in the last mail: "I didn't see it when I looked first: Your syncing times are current, but you do not have CentOS 4.8 at all - and this has been out for quite some time now." This happened for a wrong operation attribute added to the directory "4.8" We have correct it.please check it again Thank you very much Alaleiwang

Hi, I currently host mirrors.combinetworks.com, however due to bandwidth transfer restrictions and my own underestimation of the amount of bandwidth that would be used it is likely this will need to cease. However before that time I have set up an alternative in a datacentre in the UK which has no transfer cap on a 100mbit/sec port. The details are as follows: Access URLs: http://uk.mirrors.combinetworks.com/centos , ftp://uk.mirrors.combinetworks.com/centos Location: Manchester, UK Bandwidth: 100mbit Synchronisation: 4 times a day, every 6 hours Sponsoring org: Combi Networks (http://www.combinetworks.com) As I said the mirror in the US will probably be taken offline at some point, however both will continue for the time being. Well, This is better targeted at the list, as I just host a private mirror, and I'm not the person to talk to. However, It does look like your mirror is already listed and up to date. Only reason I could see it being listed lower is because its considered low bandwidth (OC3 or lower). The list would have more info, Which I have CC'ed them in on this.
