Error with Mirror

Hello, I seem to have an issue with the mirror. To test it I setup the system to use only my mirror but I am getting the error: http://mirror.ukhost4u.com/centos/5/os/i386/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found Trying other mirror. Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: base. Please verify its path and try again I check this folder/5/ and it is empty! I then re-ran the rsync cron but still it didn¹t update. I removed the folder and re-ran it and again just an empty folder, the rsync command I am using is: rsync -aqzH --delete msync.centos.org::CentOS /var/www/vhosts/mirror.ukhost4u.com/httpdocs/centos It just won¹t download this folder? Also how do I inc the DVD images? My IP if needed is: 91.206.183.4 and I have plenty space to inc the DVD images. Thanks, Paul Hughes http://www.ukhost4u.com/

New UK Mirror

Hello, To help support Centos I have setup another UK Mirror. This mirror is within BlueSquare in Maidenhead and we have a 100MB link to this server. Removal of a mirror

New mirror in sweden

Hi We at DF, the computer society at Lund University (www.df.lth.se) have setup a centos mirror. It's available at: http://ftp.df.lth.se/pub/centos ftp://ftp.df.lth.se/pub/centos rsync://ftp.df.lth.se/centos It's updated 4 times per day and it has a 1Gbps connection. ftp.tudelft.nl has also got the DVD images ready for download. The entire repository is also available by http (http://ftp.tudelft.nl/centos.org/) Can you update this in the mirror list? Thanks, Marco.

Looking for a new upstream mirror

I am looking for a new upstream source from which to mirror CentOS via rsync. My mirror is publically accessible via HTTP and FTP at mirror.its.uidaho.edu. I need an upstream that is on a non-commercial route; currently us-msync-dvd.centos.org *is* a non-commercial route, but I'm wondering if this will always be the case. More specifically I'm assuming that us-msync-dvd.centos.org is a round robin and that are multiple hosts behind this name. Ideally I would like to pick one specific host, for which the routing is known, stable and non-commercial. Should I be looking for something from centos.org, or possibly another Internet2 institution here in the US Northwest? Thanks all, Dave

DVD Mirror

We are currently setting up a new mirror server with more disk space and more bandwidth. The server has a 2GE connection with approximately 11 TB storage.
