major/minor version in tree

Hi - I apologize for the newbie question. I did some searching of the archives and couldn't find it, but there wasn't an actual search box that i found. I am creating a local mirror for our servers, and am only creating the trees that we need. Currently we only need version 5.2. Do I need to create the tree for 5 as well as 5.2? For example, so far I have created the directories: /var/www/html/centos/5.2/os/i386 /var/www/html/centos/5.2/updates/i386 /var/www/html/centos/5.2/os/x86_64 /var/www/html/centos/5.2/updates/x86_64 and I'm wondering whether I also need to create: /var/www/html/centos/5/os/i386 /var/www/html/centos/5/updates/i386 /var/www/html/centos/5/os/x86_64 /var/www/html/centos/5/updates/x86_64 Thanks for your help, Maria

Rsync IPv6 help please

Hi all, trying to enable IPv6 on my mirror. Ftp and http were easy enough, just trying to find the magic config to get rsync listening. Direct DVD ISO rsync access for CentOS Mirror of Bangladesh

Dear Tru Greetings from Bangladesh. We are serving DVD ISO with FULL CentOS Mirror for Bangladesh & Asia. We have done the initial sync from other site with very low bandwidth. Still using same Tire2 Mirror to get sync data, which making my sync process too slow. Also I can see a lot of DVD ISO request around the world on my server log. Seems this is one of DVD ISO serving site, people like to download from here. Though I am one of Tire1 Mirror and having DVD ISO, I can't use CentOS master sync server with --delete option. If you please allow IP: 116.212.104.92 for direct rsync access to CentOS Master server with DVD ISO, it will very helpful for me. Thanks and waiting for a positive reply. Getting a mere started.

hi; I have a server in london, and right now have about 500GB of bandwidth a month i can donate to the mere project. I know this isn't that much, however if it can help i would be willing to. I want to know a few things. I'm new to this so what do i have to do? How do i do this and get it set up? Also i use directadmin on my server, can i create cron with this?
