Where is the upstream server

Greetings, Does anyone know where is the CentOS upstream server? Now, I rsync from msync.centos.org, but sometimes got "Connection refused". I checked that msync.centos.org points to two IP address, 66.29.48.168 and 76.79.76.39. 66.29.48.168 seems not running rsyncd but 76.79.76.39 does. Does anyone know what happen to 66.29.48.168 or where I can sync from? Suggestion is welcome. :-) Best Regards, Sam

Hello, I am currently working on setting up a new mirror, I have started the rsync and it appears to be working you can find the site at http://70.168.40.244/CentOS/ I am working on the ftp but for some reason it will not let windows explorer connect from the browser only if I use a FTP program... I was wondering if someone could help??? CentOS mirror R2

There appears to be a problem with the official CentOS mirror "R2". My mirror chose this one to rsync with last night and it wiped out my entire 4.5 tree. (I'm now resyncing it via CentOS "I".) Regards, Mike

Mirror problems

Are there some problems with msync and eu-msync at the moment? Much of the time my mirror is getting an immediate "connection closed" when trying to rsync, depending on which of the actual servers behind these addresses it attempts to connect to. This afternoon (13:05 GMT) the eu-msync mirror (CentOS I) was 5 days out of date and my rsync session deleted all the updates from the past few days. mirror-status then said that my mirror was 5 days old! Also, I regularly seem to be rsyncing about 1GB of RPMs in ~tmp~ directories - these then get deleted on the next rsync. It's been happening for maybe 10 days or so. Thanks, Mike
