Hi there,
I am the new admin for the Mirror server
“http://centos.mirror.ac.za” hosted by Tenet in South Africa. It
appears that the cents mirror has been unable to update since the
19 June 2014. Could one of the admins possibly whitelist the IP
addresses of 155.232.191.200 & 155.232.191.213 so we can get our
mirror up to date.
If you require any further information please let me know.
thanks & regards *Lionel*
Hi Lionel,
I've just checked in our mirrors DB, and I can't find any link to that
mirror, meaning that it never has been declared to us. The
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors wiki page has a link
to the mail sent in June explaining why and how we modified the way to
mirror CentOS content :
http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-mirror-announce/2014-June/000015.htmlCan you follow instructions on the dedicated wiki page please ?
I'll then update the ACLs on the msync node to include your mirror
Thanks a lot
