Hi, http://mirrors.hostingfuze.net/centos does not seem to have any content or the URL is incorrect. Please note that you are supposed to make your initial synchronization from some other public CentOS mirror (list available at https://www.centos.org/download/mirrors/ ). Once your mirror has been verified and approved, it can be added to the CentOS mirrorlist and you can sync directly from CentOS servers. Details on https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors
In addition, your rsync service does not seem to be reachable from the outside. Connections to the rsync port time out. Perhaps a firewall problem?
[root@cpanel public_html]# rsync -aqzH --delete eu-msync.centos.org::CentOS /home/mirrors/public_html/centos @ERROR: Unknown module 'CentOS' rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1516) [Receiver=3.0.9] [root@cpanel public_html]#

Hmm.. same thing here. When did undocumented changes occured?
Hi,
Try rsync from any public mirror list.
for example:
# rsync -avz rsync://centos.ar.host-engine.com/6.6/os/x86_64/ /var/www/html/repos/centos/6/6/

In June 2014, see http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-mirror-announce/2014-June/000015.ht...
The relevant snippet is: --- we'll restrict the CentOS (...) rsyncd modules access to IP currently being marked as "official" CentOS public mirrors ---
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors also has a NOTE at the top of the page regarding this.

Can you check http://centos.mirrors.linux.ro/ ? We were supposed to rsync from 62.231.75.130 and 2a02:2f0c:d000:14::443 ! Thanks.

Hi,
That mirror isn't listed on http://mirror-status.centos.org/ so I had a look in the mirrors DB and it was marked as "Gone". That happens if mirrors goes into out-of-date status and that despite mirror-status, it stayed like that for a long time. The warning email was normally sent to the contact info in the DB : ftpadmin@linux.ro
At this stage, would you mind just "re-applying" like a new mirror (for the initial validation, etc) and also ensure that contact details are correct ?
Thanks a lot

So this is what I wrote the last time you asked about this:
--- Is this for a new mirror? If you are setting up a new mirror, please read https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors where it's stated that " NOTE: To provide fastest access to public mirrors, we have now restricted access (at the IP level) for known public mirrors (see http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-mirror-announce/2014-June/000015.ht...). So for your first synchronization, you should use one of the external mirrors providing rsync access. You can find that list here: http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ". After you have synced from some other external mirror, please post your mirror's information to this list so the mirror can be verified and added to the list. After your mirror has been approved, you can sync directly from msync.centos.org.
If this is an already existing mirror and you used to be able to access msync.centos.org in the past, please provide your mirror's URL and IP address for debugging the problem. I don't find "hostingfuze" on http://mirror-status.centos.org/ . To determine your mirror's external public IP address, "curl ip.miuku.net" may be handy. ---
External mirrors in the above snippet do not mean *.centos.org machines but some other mirror. You could try making your initial sync from rsync://mirrors.m247.ro/centos/ , for example.

Thanks : it has been added to the mirrors DB and will normally be listed as a public mirror (and on http://mirror-status.centos.org / http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP has been whitelisted (check that it's working in the following hour)
Kind Regards,
